La Ciudadanía Argentina por Inversión, también conocida como Argentina Citizenship by Investment, fue diseñada para ser la primera vía formal de Citizenship by Investment de Sudamérica. El marco legal sigue vigente desde mayo 2025, pero la implementación operativa está actualmente en proceso de rediseño.Argentina Citizenship by Investment, also known as Ciudadanía Argentina por Inversión, was designed to be South America’s first formal Citizenship by Investment route. The legal framework has been in force since May 2025, but operational implementation is currently being redesigned.
El Decreto 366/2025 modificó la Ley de Ciudadanía N° 346 incorporando el artículo 2° bis, que permite a extranjeros obtener ciudadanía argentina (cualquiera sea el tiempo de residencia) acreditando una "inversión relevante". El Decreto 524/2025 estableció el procedimiento administrativo y creó la Agencia de Programas de Ciudadanía por Inversión bajo el Ministerio de Economía.
